Preparing and Feeding Instructions

Preparing organic infant formula is easy because it is similar to other products. Follow these steps for each baby feeding.

1. Sterilize everything. Put bottles, rings, and nipples into boiling water for 3 to 5 minutes. Wash your hands with soap and warm water.
2. Boil water that is new, not artificially softened, carbonated or alkaline. Do not substitute breast milk for water.
3. When boiled water has been cooled to 122 degrees F / 50 degrees C, fill the bottle according to the feeding guide on the package.
4. Using the provided scoop, add leveled scoops to the water in the bottle. Generally it is a 1:1 ratio of powder to water. Do not pack the powder.
5. Close the bottle. Shake well until completely dissolved and evenly distributed.
6. Recommended feeding temperature is 98.6 degrees F / 37 degrees C. Always check the temperature before feeding.
7. Use the prepared formula within an hour of preparing it. Dispose of any leftover formula.
